1️⃣ God Created Us Perfect ✨
📖 Genesis 1:26
📖 Genesis 2:7
He built us, made us according to His design, and made us perfect, only over the course of our lives we ourselves destroyed His creation. And it was up to Him to transform us again, to build us again, to rebuild what He had already made with great love. We destroyed Him, first without His permission, without thinking about the causes, without considering the consequences, without caring about what we do, without valuing what we are or how we are, rebelliously acting against Him and against ourselves. Seeing ourselves as different from how we were created, defying His ultimate creation.
If we notice, God created our spirit, but formed the body from dust (Genesis 2:7). This means that the physical has no part in the spiritual; The body is temporary, while the spirit is eternal and was made in the image and likeness of God.
📖 Genesis 5:2
“Male and female He created them; and He called them Adam, on the day they were created.”
The human body was created after all creation, even after the Sabbath, showing the importance that man has for God. God’s true masterpiece is the spirit, which connects us to Him.
📖 Psalm 8:4-5
📖 Hebrews 2:6-7
This reminds us that, even though we have physical bodies, our relationship with God depends on the spirit, not the body.
2️⃣ Spiritual Disconnection and the Illusion of Physical Perfection 💔
When we lose connection with God, we focus on the body. We think we are ugly, imperfect, and that we need changes to be “better” or to please others.
We see this in tattoos, piercings, surgeries, and extreme body modifications. The more we alter the body, the less we value our true spiritual essence.
Extreme examples:
There is in Cuba two guys called one the newspaper and the other one octopus because of the many tattoos covering their entire body.
There is a drugs called the crocodile, which slowly consume the flesh of the body.
Even so, the Lord loves us, while we sometimes cannot forgive others or even ourselves.
3️⃣ Restoration by the Great Master 🛠️
Jesus’ goal was not to restore the body or correct only our mistakes, but to reconnect man with God, restoring the spiritual relationship that had been lost.
❤️ A new, clean, and pure heart
🧠 A healthy mind
💪 An incorrupt body
Every spiritual restoration takes time, because God works carefully, adjusting what is necessary and allowing each new part to adapt. We are all perfect from the day we were born, but we need to surrender our spirit to the Master to restore our connection with Him.
